Our Jury went through a long but exciting screening process and made a selection of 24 short movies from your submissions. Those films can now be found in the final program for the 9th Shortmoves festival taking place on September 18-19, 2009 in Halle (Saale), Germany. Program Shortmoves 2009
We received a lot of breathtaking submissions from a large variety of countries, like Germany, Iran, Switzerland, Israel, USA, Canada, Mexico, Spain, France, Austria, Turkey, Romania, Portugal, Denmark or Great Britain. Our jury members have selected the best 24 short films from these submissions for viewing on the big cinema screen in September.
With a total screening time of three months this turned out to be an interesting and surprising venture. The selected short movies represent a big spectrum of genres and offer a great variety for the Jury and above all the visitors of the festival. We thank all movie makers for the many high quality submissions, which made the final selection even harder.
An overview of all 24 short movies is now online in its final version. In the program you see which movies will be screened on which day of the festival and the movies are sorted based on their screening order.
Ticket Booking
If you want to be sure to experience these movies in a comfortable Lux.Kino cinema chair, you can now book your tickets online. Just fill out the short form on our ticket page und you’ve saved your seat. The booked tickets have to be picked up at the box office in the Lux.Kino am Zoo.
Please note you have to pick up your booked tickets by the corresponding festival evenings until 7.30pm. Otherwise they will be sold at the box office.
