Shortmoves-Workshop 2009: Seats still available
For the 9th time we celebrate the short film in Halle (Saale), Germany with Shortmoves. To give you the possibility to get to know the various sides of the city, we invite you to join our free Shortmoves workshop. The Shortmoves workshop 2009 is targeted towards young film makers who already did some short film productions. We offer an exciting program with a new view on Halle (Saale) and with informations about film marketing, film rights and of course the chance of meeting other film makers.

Friday, September 18, 2009 – from 5pm
We show you the nicest places in Halle (Saale): idyllic places, fascinating stories and new perspectives. No boring sightseeing-tour, but a special chance to get to know each other.
- 5pm guided tour + get together, open for the Couchsurfers too
- approx. 7.30pm off to the Lux.Kino
Discover Film Economy
Saturday, September 19, 2009 – noon – 5pm
Film means creativity and passion. But the economic aspects aren’t less important as good stories and the technical skills. The expert in the field of marketing, public relations and distribution, Mike Riemenschneider, will lead the workshop. He will show you recent tendencies and strategies in the national and international film distribution and marketing. With the help of case studies Mike Riemenschneider will go into concrete practices of the film analysis with a special eye on young film makers.
