The jury for the 9th international short film festival in Halle (Saale), Germany is now complete. The juror are all experienced people from different areas of the film industry. On September 18/19, 2009 those will judge out of 24 nominated short films and select the winners of the jury and the innovation award.
For the 9th time we celebrate the short film in Halle (Saale), Germany with Shortmoves. To give you the possibility to get to know the various sides of the city, we invite you to join our free Shortmoves workshop. The Shortmoves workshop 2009 is targeted towards young film makers who already did some short film productions. We offer an exciting program with a new view on Halle (Saale) and with informations about film marketing, film rights and of course the chance of meeting other film makers.
For the first time ever there will be a new award at the 9th International Short Film Festival Shortmoves in September 2009 in Halle (Saale), Germany. The freshly named Shortmoves Innovation Award will go to very originally ideas, perspectives and extraordinary ideas in narration. This new award is endowed with 250€ and it will be awarded in addition to the jury- and people’s choice award.
Our Jury went through a long but exciting screening process and made a selection of 24 short movies from your submissions. Those films can now be found in the final program for the 9th Shortmoves festival taking place on September 18-19, 2009 in Halle (Saale), Germany. Submit now your films to the 9th short film festival. The closing date to hand in your movies is June 18th 2009. Your application form is arranged at menu point “Submission”. You can download it as PDF or you can apply online by using “Online-Formular”.
