About the Team

The Shortmoves International Film Festival Team are a small number of young, motivated and ambitious people. The organisation of the Festival is based on a practical seminar from the Faculty of Media and Communication at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. The Key issues of Festival planning, research, finance and promotion are worked out by a group of tutors and students. Support is also provided by the skilful and experienced Founder of the Shortmoves Festival, René Langner, as well as by HIM, the Institute for Media in Halle.
